Since 2015, Hindbag has been committed to sustainable and ethical fashion. All of their bags are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and are produced within an NGO that works to empower women by training them in sewing skills and compensating them fairly.
The project originally started as a student initiative led by Pierre Monnier, the brand's founder, in collaboration with the (SSMI) in Delhi, to produce handbags for business communication needs.
