Sofía is the person behind Picuru Ceramicas. Born in Leones, Córdoba, Argentina, and currently living in Lentegi, Granada, she is an architect who began exploring new crafts, one of which became her passion: ceramics. Her journey started with a commercial space and teaching at a workshop.
Picuru was founded in 2017, and Sofía and her team are excited to continue growing. Everything is made by hand, requiring a lot of time and patience. They do not use plaster molds—every piece is an artisanal, dedicated process, from shaping the clay to painting it. Each item is unique and carries a part of them.
